A superhero becomes just another guy when he gets tossed into a Utopian future where everyone has superpowers. But when the love of his life is in danger, he learns it takes more than strength to be a superhero.

Synopsis
BASTION, a superhero intent on saving the world, battles WARD DAVIS, the latest super villain bent on world domination. Usually Bastion wins these battles, but this time he’s in the wrong place at the wrong time and an explosion knocks him out.
He awakes to find himself at the same place, but things have changed. The city is a veritable paradise with no crime, illness, or poverty. People are happy, no one needs money, and the locals welcome him with open arms.
Oh, and everyone has his superpowers, which makes him just another guy.
Bastion befriends STEWARD, the burly local bartender, and his family. He gets a few glimmers that all may not be as great as it seems, but when he meets Conformity, Steward’s sister-in-law, there is instant chemistry between the two of them. Bastion stops worrying. He’s in love, and that’s all that matters.
Bastion, not knowing where he is or how he got there, works to fit in. When he hears stories of people disappearing it bothers him. He tries to find out more about it, but there are no books, newspapers, internet, phones, or even a radio. These people are cut off from other people in the world, if other people even exist.
Bastion chooses to ignore how strange that makes him feel. He is, after all, in love. That’s all that matters. Besides, there’s nothing he can do about it. Everyone is as strong as he is. He has no superpowers.
Eventually he learns that Conformity’s parents had been dissatisfied with their lives and had disappeared when she was a toddler.
When he returns to the bar, he finds that Steward and his family have disappeared.
He rushes to Conformity to break the bad news to her. She’s devastated, and afraid. She tells him she recently turned down the advances of an official. Most likely that official is coming after Conformity and everyone she loves in retribution.
Bastion and Conformity run, but are caught. Lucky for them, their captors are friends, and take them to the wilderness. Others before them have been left in the wilderness. All they have to do is find them.
Only, the people left in the wilderness had no survival skills and perished.
Bastion convinces Conformity that their only hope is to return to where he was from. He suspects he’s from the past, and if they can get back there, they can make a better future for everyone.
Bastion figures out what caused the explosion. He and Conformity return to the scene, recreate the explosion, and return to Bastion’s original time. He continues his fight with Ward Davis. With Conformity’s help, he succeeds in taking the villain down.
Now the world has a new superhero couple.
