Gray Zone and NANOWRIMO

I want to share an interesting tidbit about Gray Zone.

That’s the how it began. If you’re wondering why, well, that is an entirely different post.

I'm looking forward to reading it! I tried Nanowrimo once, and I can definitely write that many words in one month, but if I'm not in the writing mood then it's not going to happen. I'm pretty anal about my writing and I like to do it all the first time. I always edit the chapters as I go along.

I know what you mean about not being able to write if I'm not in a writing mood. I've very excited about the new book I'm writing, yet I can't seem to write.

I'm one of those who can't edit the chapters as I go along or I'd never get anything finished. I would never get past the first chapter!

A belated congrats on completing Gray Zone. 50K words? I wish I could find the time and energy, regardless of how far down it would be whittled during editing. I never have writers block, I have "life getting in the way of what I really want to do". I think a lot of writers have the same affliction though, right?
